Science
Today in science, we investigated the effects of air resistance. We had to create a parachute that had the most air resistance. After designing and creating our parachutes, we dropped them from a height. We found out that parachutes which had a larger surface area created the most air resistance!
We had visitors from Leeds Autism Services today. They shared their own personal experiences with autism and informed the children what autism is. They also gave the children advice on how best to support peers with autism, in the classroom.
What a great presentation! One of our pupils said that it was his best assembly he's ever had!
