KS2 children are trialling a new maths programme called Times Table Rockstars. It is a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practice, which we are promoting across school. In order to support your child at home, we are encouraging the use of this website to further embed times tables.  Quick recall of times tables is essential for KS2. The website can be accessed via this link https://ttrockstars.com/ or alternatively, the Times Table Rockstar app be downloaded for free on any iPad or compatible mobile device. It is also useful to know that local secondary schools use this programme too.   All KS2 children have been given their logins so can start straight away. Your homework this week is to use our new resource (TT Rockstars). Practise your multiplication and division facts at least 3 times this week.  Dojos will be given for anyone who achieves an average speed of 2 seconds or lower (per question). 

On Wednesday, in DT, we made our designs come to life by creating our own chocolate drinks. Our inspiration came from the Maya, however, the addition of sugar was one which we welcomed!  Ask us about how we designed and made our chocolate drink, although we may not reveal our secret ingredient.
